You know I've always wanted to get my motors to one of these guys to get them worked on but the cost of gas is just prohibitive.

You are only lucky SOB to get able to get your new power from someone you can trust and he must have given you one heck of a price to drive that distance.

Congrats to you on your new power!!

Dae, I don't know what kind of drive from MD it would be for you, but it's worth every minute of the 3hr drive to Nashville Tn, or Townville SC, for me. These guys go out of their way to help a man!!!

Yeah rusty did give me a good price also it was worth every bit of the ride he not only went over a lot of proper maintance and other good tips he showed me how to do them...As for gas it wasn't that bad i'm towing with a 05 jeep grand cherokee (HEMI) and i guess i averaged around 13-14 mpg so it cost me around $300 or so..I would do the trip over again in a heartbeat just knowing the good work these guys do and there trusty worthy............chris

That's great news! Let us know how she runs.

Good going, John! You sure you don't want to move to AZ?

Dae, its just under 2 tanks of gas each way in my GMC truck, thats about $100 each way from my area- near Frederick, Md. Its was well worth the $$, I made that run several times.

    BTW Rusty- nice shirt

Re: New motor 2004 225 ho DI (Kbass)

I guess the only way to meet Rusty is if I happen to go on vacation and end up driving down 40 to get to where ever I'm going because Google says it's a 15hr drive for me. As for meeting others, the odds are it will never happen since most just as far for further and meeting Seahorse would probably only happen once we are all dead becuase the man doesn't seem to exist; other then in the cyber world.

All I can say is Thank God, I have atleast one of you helpful techs within driving distance and that's Joe (Johnrude) in Delmont, NJ.

good job rusty....most of the problems i have seen with any of the newer engines seems to stem from having a not so knowlegable tech rigging & settting up the engine. dealing with a quality service dealer makes all the difference in the world even if ya pay a little more .

Chris......was a pleasure meeting you....come back again.....next time come down to stay awhile so we all can go fishing instead of taking a new motor out to check it in the rain.......

glad you had a safe trip back home......hope that motor gives you many years of good service.....
