    Energy Bands

This should be interesting. I am in the process of ordering another pair of Nike Shock’s after wearing my 1st pair out. When I got on the Nike site, I see they now have one of those energy producing, ion bracelet things. It’s called the “FuelBand”. Their version seems to be a little more advanced though and records different types of info such as calories burned, etc. during workouts.

But my question is, does anyone have one of these energy producing bracelets or necklaces? Have you felt a difference when wearing them? I have a Phiten band that I bought at Dick's last year. I don’t really know if it gives me more energy. Maybe and then again, it could just be all in my head.

I've never used one personaly so I can't help you out there. I've always viewed all these bands the same as the corner store that has a tub full of "lucky loonies" that they sell for $2.00 a piece?

Is it an energy band or more like the body bug that helps track calories burned, etc? It appears to be more a device used to track ur calories burned, time spent exercising, etc.

Yea but im sure they have some type of energy producing material (usually titanium magnets) in it. I was just curious about the normal energy bands and necklaces.

    Re: Energy Bands (TroyBoy30)

Ive got an uncle that has severe arthartis in his hands, he is only in is 40's but has always had health issues, mostly stemming from his diabetes. Well it had gotten so bad that he couldnt close his hands enough to make a fist, he couldnt open jars, or hold a pen to sign his name or anything. They had tried everything and nothing made much of a difference. Well about two moths ago my grandmother (his mother) was in Gatlinburg, TN on vacation and saw a shop selling those "magic litte braceletts" and so she bought him one ($30). He didnt figure it could hurt anything so he put it on and didnt think anything else about it. Two weeks later he could make a complete fist. I wouldnt have believed it myself if I hadnt seen it with my own eyes, truely amazing.
Ive had buddies growing up that raced motocross and swore by them, that they helped there balance and stuff, but I always thought they were full of S*&%, but after seeing what it did for my uncle I believe now that there must be something to it.
