Well, after much deliberation, my wife and I have decided it's best to sell our little Javelin 180 DC.

This has been a much loved boat, but with our traveling lifestyle, it just doesn't fit the bill. And, we hate to see it just sit around being stored, wasting away so someone else can't enjoy it. Gonna be tough to watch it leave the driveway behind some other vehicle, but the idea is already freeing.

So, in a year or two, we'll be shoppin' for another, prolly a fish n ski. Hope this doesn't mean I have to quit BBC...

Well, I looked, and there's no section for Javelin in the F/S board. Kinda seems like, compared to what is currently listed, that mine is an old, little wannabe bassboat. lol

So, instead, I guess I'm stuck with CL.

Here's a little ray of hope for you...
Last fall I listed a boat on craigs list. I listed it in november, not a good time to sell a boat. It was a 91 f/s with a 1990 evinrude 150 and a cracked transom! Well november is not the best time to list a boat here im Wisconsin, I just wanted to list it to see what kind of interest there was for it. I wanted to get $4,000.00 out of it, so with the haggling that go's along with selling a boat, I decided to list it for $5,000.00. Well.....It took about 2 week's to get my first response, The guy came to look at it and said that he did'nt feel comfortable buying a boat with a cracked transom.....I thought the sale was off. He then offer's me $4,800 cash for it. Deal done!!!!! First response to the ad was a sale!! So you never know.
By the way....This was the first time I have ever sold or listed anything on craigs list. So for me craigs list RULES.
