    did you see where there are US Experts that claim they could see $164,000 to over a million per passenger.

    Codacons, one of Italy's best-known consumer groups, has engaged two U.S. law firms to launch a class-action lawsuit against Costa and Carnival in Miami, claiming that it expects to get anywhere from $164,000 to $1.3 million per passenger

    Yep saw it....They will deny the $14,000.00 settlement and take the risk for big buck's.....And if they don't win that lawsuit....they will get $0.00

    Heck that caption could have been getting high, having sex or sleeping. It's outrageous that he hit those rocks. That was by no means a "Get close so they can see" kinda deal. IMO

    Of course it'll take years for anyone to get any money. If I was a young person and I wasn't hurt I might would take the 14k and run.

    The company could file bankruptcy after the judgement and not pay anything.

    They'll win the $1mil a person lawsuit. Company will then declare bankruptcy, and passengers will get nothing?
