My worst is kind of funny, well is now but not then,
Stick Marsh farm 13 ...fishing the Hog Pen, with a white spinner bait... I got a hard hit and drag started going out.... I set my drag pretty tight so I knew something was going on!!! As the line came up my sister n laws rattle trap was coming up the line ... my brother quickly grabbed the scissors.. I yelled (this is a PC board) dont cut that line!!!.... He grabbed the bait and Snip!!! my rod went slack.......... and the line fell to the water...... the bass actually didnt swim right away cause there was the line still by the boat ... we didnt get the line and it got real quiet on the boat...brother walks by and says quickly ...sorry ... I know he didnt mean it...stuff happens... We laughed..well I laughed later.. much later!!! LOL

My eternal hunt for a double digit bass. Was on a little lake in Oklahoma that has produced a decent number of 10+ lbers. Odd number of people on our trip so I was fishing alone. Hooked a no doubt double digit bass. No one to net it . Got it right up to the boat, I mean right there in front of me. Would've been an easy net job. She dove, line snapped and there I sat. So the next day I go back to the exact same spot.... but this time with 50 lb braid. Hooked another HAWG. Another no doubt double digit. Got this one right up to the boat. Right there again. Another bass that would've been easily netted. She took off towards the back of the boat so I was walking towards the back getting ready to dive down and lip her. That's when she dove and this time the crankbait comes back up empty. Still sickened to this day about it. Just SICKENING

Lets see.... I was fishing in the back of a buddies boat. Made a cast behind the boat and got my trap hung up on some wood. He starts trolling away at high speed. Hits a stump with his TM. Not paying any attention i get thrown into the center of the boat. I reached out to catch myself on the console and that did no good. As i am standing up, I realized that my shoulder was touching my ear. It had dislocated and suckked back in as I got all the way up. Never went to the doc an eight years later I still have problems with that shoulder.
