I read each post from the topics I post and I have to say Bass fishing has a way of getting to us... it isnt for everyone..but I guess thats what makes it special...
My best day on the water...
well I can remember going to a small lake here in MD and my dad throwing out a Hula Popper and getting a hit setting the hook and then handing me the rod..
I also remember my first 9 ... wow... so many good days... too many to count...

Re: best day on the water.... (BigBassUSA)

My best day was actually shore fishing back when I was a younger lad (late teens) at a small lake near my house. One Sept. day just about every cast I got a bass.
The weird thing was I was walking along the shore line casting parallel about 2-5' out from the shore line with a white spinner bait with a red white and blue skirt and white w/l blades. The water depth in that lake @ 2-5' was 3" to a foot deep.
I caught so many bass I actually had to stop because it felt like my thumbs got grinded by a belt sander. Also has a bruise on the stomach from the end of the butt end of the pole from fighting the fish.
Went back the following day, same time of day, doing the same exact thing and caught 5 bass.
Because of that day I throw a spinner bait 90% of the time. My favorite lure. Still never been able to catch as many bass as I did that day.
