I caught my biggest bass on a July 3rd in late 80s. About 10:00pm on a small western Indiana lake. It came on a black/blue Gatortail worm. Very dark that night and didn't realize how big it was until in the net. No scales or camera in the boat, but figured 8lbs or better. Had a large blue gill tail hanging out it's throat. It was released after about 15mins in the livewell, couldn't see killing it just to have it mounted.
My largest LM 8.6 on Lk Hopatcong 16 aprl 94 that is the day after you can no longer keep them, for picture....my parner weighed with his Scale adm then my cul-mRight. Caught on a hair jig. near a dock. fast foward 2 years, the 17th april same exact spot, I had caught a 10.80 striper.......when I hooked her, I though she is back and 2 years older........
Largest SM 6.1 on the Hudson, in Catskill creek in the fall, in the middle of the channel......Caught on a 1/8 hair jig in 25 ft of water...... that was 1988 or 89....
I have a 6lb that I caught on a dropshot. That tournament I caught 2 fish. the 6 and a 5lber. I broke my pb 2 summers ago with a 6-1 that I caught under a dock on a tube jig and 8lb floro.

My largest was caught in Nov. 1991, fishing Lake Guntersville, it weighed 9.5 lbs and was the only fish we landed that day. Caught it on a old Lloyd Talent original Rat in purple color. We had so many blow-ups on those things that day and missed or lost a number of huge fish.

9.51 lbs, September 2009, Caney Lake, Louisiana. I caught it on a Giggy Head Shakey head with a Zoom Finesse worm.
My PB is only 5.97lbs on a Gunfish 95, Clarks Hill Lake....
BUT, it was caught in the first tournament I fished out of my first bassboat six days after I bought it. Won big fish and took 2nd in the tourney!

My largest LM came from Priesa La Angustoura, mexico at 11lbs and released in 1985. Would love to go back some day! Largest for the week was at 13.5, absolute pig!
Most caught that week came on Strike King talapia colored spinnerbaits or anything with green color was the ticket.
My largest was caught at lunch time in December a few day before Christmas. It weighed 14.3 on Berkley scales. Caught it on a Ghost Baits zombie digit.

26.3 lbs....unfortunately it was fouled hook and i had to let it go.....I also didnt have a camera....so u will just have to take my word for it...
10.22 El Paso, Tx at a park pond. Caught on a shakey head and 8# test and spinning gear in the float tube.
It was caught at Stick marsh/ Farm 13 in Florida. I think it was 1997 before my 14 year old son was born, it may have been 1996. It was 13.3 with a big head and a long 27 and 3/4" long body. If it was fat know telling what it would have weighed. I caught her on a Fire and Ice color worm.

My biggest was 9 lbs 4 oz caught on a Norman crankbait. The day before a buddy and I fished an open tournament which I practiced for on Wednesday. I caught a 7-11 20 yards away Wednesday, Saturday morning we beat the hell out of this area for an hour or 2 and never got bit. Went back Sunday morning fishing with my dad and stuck her.

Picture on left is largest ever photographed. 6lb 4 oz. Middle picture is biggest ever weighed in at an open tournament for lunker. 5 lb 15 ozs. The picture on the right is my fiancees PB that she boated. I dropped a larger one at the boat while lipping it for her.
I have caught larger fish. One 6lb 5oz in a club tournament and 2 that Ive caught fishing solo without a scale that I estimated at about 6 lbs 12 ozs.
