What is the strike pad you are referring to ? Can I use this plug in my motor ? I have an earlier post ( spark plug ? ) where I have all my motor info. Thanks

The strike pad is the area bonded to the plug where it conducts the electricity. A standard spark plug usually will not have this, Di or E-tec engines that have super high strike ranges are the engines that may have the strike pad. The strike pad is made of a superior material to extend spark plug life.

You will see the strike area. Look closely, line it up, if its not lined up, spark plug wear is increased. Use only the plug that is on your emission tag.
