In a response to a post about the very funny "more cowbell" skit....I typed a quote from the legendary Bruce Dickinson "(edit) of the walk baby" The word "(edit)" was edited out. There is absoutely nothing offensive or vulgar in this phrase. So why was the (edit) put in the place of the first word of the quote? Is this done automatically? Here is just one of the many accepted definitions of the phrase:
(edit) of the walk
noun
the leader in a group, especially one with a conceited, domineering manner. There is even a Fog Horn Leg Horn cartoon with that title!
There are restaurant's with this name.

Can anybody explain this to me?
