I have one,,, I had bought the newest one but found it's remote doesn't do all the functions so I brought it back to store and got the playsport3 which is fully remote functional and can switch between still and video with touch. Of remote and also got the gorilla tripod to clamp it in place so I can video or still pic hands free( while fishing of course) and got the floating case for it too, it's also waterproof to 10 feet With all the extras and 2 32gb sd cards it cost $225
