the only other thing i can tell you guys is that when i was running down the lake at 5000-5100 and 56 mph or so, the motor would have a real high pitch.. like its supposed to WOT, then it would quiet down a bit.. and the rpms would drop a bit.. then it would be ok... then do it again.. this winter i had the motor checked and the only thing wrong were some loose bolts in the carbs, bad gaskets, etc.. but that almost sounds like the motors not getting enough fuel or something...

Sounds like prop slip to me.... as the prop is losing bite from too much trim, motor being too high etc.... sounds like ya need to send it to a prop shop and have it worked, should take care of the problem...

I think it will help your holeshot, but sometimes you have to have some holes frilled for it to ventilate.... Mark Croxton on the prop board can hook ya up.....

i ran a 24 raker just last night and i got a huge difference in the holeshot... i mean big time.. i got out myself in a 5 count and 10 with my partner.. same loads as i mentioned earlier.. 3/4 tanks... etc...

If the engine ran o.k with the borrowed prop. Look inside the prop for rubber debris or signs of spinning on the thrust washer. If you see any, get the prop fixed.
