    Another A-rig question

Im sure this has been asked here but I did a search and couldnt find it. I need to know who makes a good jig head with a real heavy hook that wont straighten out. I know manns makes a jig/swimbait combo pack they sell for the A rig but I hate to pay $16 just to get the 5 jigheads. The baits are useless to men that come with them. The striper and big LM straightened my hooks out all day with the jigs I have. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

If you're using braid you might try backing off your drag a bit until you find some jigheads you like.

Personally I want the hooks to straighten out. I have snagged my arigs multiple times and I just pull until the hook bends. Straighten and sharpen the hook and I am back in business.

I hit you on IM but I just saw an ad at the bottom of the BBC page for Tru Trac lure company that sells a "school of fish" rig and their jigheads look like something you may be looking for. Never used them...just saw them when I clicked on the sponsor ad.

I received the heads from Paul on the page that Scotty B and I posted on here and they look great. Looks like they would be tough to bend if that's what you are looking for.

The best I have found are in the Bass Pro saltwater section. http://www.basspro.com/Offshor...37535 these have a really good Mustad hook, come in 1/8, 1/4, and 3/8oz, and best of all they are $4.29 for an 8 pack. That’s 53 cents each compared to $1.83 each for the Buckeye heads.
