I don't subscribe to threads. PM if you need me.
The military is one of those professions that you either love, or hate. There isn't any middle ground. I don't have heartburn with those that feel they made a mistake by re-enlisting. I just wish they would have realized their feelings before. The point is, they stepped up the first time and that is what counts. How many refuse to make that first step? Thanks guys for your service, no matter how short.![]()
What's his name that posted 2nd was drunk last night. He had posted on several other threads that he was ...... so anyway.
For you all that were offended .... Sorry ......
I put it out there. I am not in control of who does and who doesn't. If you want, do ....... if not, don't.

Boatless Bank Trash for now
Got a letter back from Savannah..Seems like a nice person. After our letter of encouragement she was worried about letting us down. Hope she does OK.

Yeah Sorry I didn't up date.
Poor Savannah blew out a knee the last week in training. They wont let her continue. She gave it he all and she is so disappointed in herself and afraid ppl wont really understand. She's coming back soon and having surgery on it. She says she is gonna go for the Air Force. IDK
Thank you to any and all that wrote to her.
She'll know who I am if you mention an old fart bitchen about loosing a 100.00 bet.
I had said to her "I bet 100 that she'd be quit/home by Christmas.
I normally Pizz her off so I figured if she would use her anger at me to get her through the tough times it would be a good thing. Now she feels I won. (I'm gonna sneak her the 100 when she gets home !)

No kidding... I am 51 years old and I do not care what the age of the soldier. I have the utmost respect for all of them male or female and I do not care what age. God bless her and I pray for her safety....hope that is not to perverted for you![]()
So how many of you trashing the guy for wishing he didn't re-up, are veterans your selves?
He already fulfilled his original commitment to his branch of military. That's more than a BUNCH of other people.

More than not.
Johnny,
The AF seldom accepts someone prior service from another branch. If they do it's normally someone special forces, pilot, doctor, etc....
She did her best. Make sure they get that knee back 100% before they discharge her. She volunteered to serve.![]()

But seriously, I would write her just for the moral support needed. A "thanks", be it in crayon or otherwise. I never served, but wish that I had. It makes me happy to see folks in uniform, and I thank them when I get the chance.
