Here's some Johnny's for ya....man them modded V8's sound wicked taking off, especially with those big holes in the mid...



If you look at the 4th boat in this pic, it is one of only 9 Talons made for twin engines...and it has twin Johnny 225's on it. Sweet rig! Marie brought it all the way from Georgia!



And here's the lonely Etec, hey I was the only Etec there and kept right up with the big dogs all weekend. It sure turned a few heads, especially when they kept going to the fuel docks and I mentioned that I ran all weekend (over 100 miles WOT!) on about 1/3 of a tank....

Now that's a boat show!! Im bettin' the E-tec turned heads from the beginning due to the fact you don't have to wear out a starter to get em' going!

We had about 75 boats at the sandbar....all the locals heard about it, called their buddies, then we had like 25 airboats full of hicks watching us...I made some photo passes Fri, hopefully the pics came out! They were surprised yesterday when the lake got rough, everybody backed off, and the ol Strat just kept humpin right along across the tops of the waves. It definitely got attention and was a great conversation piece. You shoulda seen the looks on everyones faces yesterday. The line at the ramp (we had the privelage of using a private ramp) was an hour long, but moving good. After each person launched, they grouped at the pavillion right next to the ramp to watch everybody else. Their all fighting their motors, I just floated off the trailer, drifted back, propped my feet up on the console, put one arm behind my back, and hit the key while I was laughing my butt off!

Um....I ain't gonna go there....let's just say the chicks I found at the party that night...um, after a lot of wasted effort...turned out to be, well, not so into guys.... But man...perfect way to spend the weekend....the party started fri am, and was still going this morning when I left to come home.

SWEEEEEETTTT you could use some more lift!! Too much hull in the H20. . Looks like a Hydro-scream in the H20 picture with the ally on the beach.

Yeah, I need to start trying props...but then again in that shot I was running 76-76.5 with 50 gallons of fuel, full tackle, full cooler, and full party load. I was also running about 3/4trim in the pic, any higher and I would lose speed.....running 23-25psi of water pressure too....

Grant,running that much water pressure,with the right prop,you should be able to come up alot.
