    Who makes a good jerkbait?

I'm looking to add a few. Besides LC and Mega Bass what out there is good? I like rapala but not husky jerks, I want something thats good out of the box, I don't want to modify them to get them to suspend right. As an example I'll use rapala husky jerks, lot's of the ones I have floated up backwards instead of suspending. Price wise I'm looking to keep them under 20 each. Thanks.

spro mcsticks are good, i just got a couple of the rick clunn baits that look really good but the split rings look super cheap and i changed mine out. x-raps are also decent. i typically stick with pointers and stacey's (sp?) though. maybe buy some used ones fromt he sell forms below.

The McSticks are made for Mike McClelland's specs. If you knew Mike, you would know he does not endorse anything if it is not up to par.

Another good jerkbait is the TD Minnow . I have both shallow and deep ones and have to say TDs and McSticks have both produced for me...

Daiwa DB minnows aren't bad, either.

Fish in my avatar was caught on one.

you're never going to find a stickbait that will suspend at all water temps. it's impossible. water is the most dense at 39.2 degrees. if your bait will suspend at 39.2 degrees it will sink at any other temp. period. it's physics. that's just the way it is. if you fish this weekend and weight your bait to perfectly suspend at 45 degree water temp then go next weekend and the water temp is 40 degrees your bait is going to float. there's nothing you, me or any manufacturer will ever be able do about it except mess with (add or subtract) the weight. you will eventually have to mess with every stickbait at some point/many points and always will until the laws of physics change.

    Rapala X-Rap is another.

Personally I'm looking forward to getting some personal experience using the Netcraft Pointers. Look just like Lucky Craft Pointers for a TINY fraction of the cost.

    Jackall's definitely.
If you can find the Smithwick Rogue Deep Diver Jr. "Mr. Walleye" jerkbait - get it. There isn't a better jerk for the price. The Black/Chrome has been money for me. http://www.landbigfish.com/showcase.cfm?PID=4313
