Burning the candle at both ends.
Mercury, has a good........ great oil............but it's made for Merc's I use the xd-100 on my 03 DI and never looking back.
I only use xd-100 in mine also.It is engineered for Evinrude/Johnson so thats what I stick with. The x-50 is also a great oil for carb engines, its cheaper and carb engines do use more than the DI's.

Merc has 2 types of oil. The Premium is TC-W3 but is recommended for motors 75hp or less. Their Premium PLUS has extra additives for high performance motors above 75hp. If you are going to use Merc oil in your HO outboard, make sure it is the Premium PLUS, and not the ordinary Premium stuff. The same applies to the Quicksilver Premium and Quicksilver Premium PLUS.
