Check with Brian at The Tackle Trap... He's a BBC sponsor and sells the Shimano Crucial Swimbait rod and the Curado 300E - that will make a fine A-Rig set up... and he sells "Tackle Trap Rigs" too

Brian is great to deal with and that crucial is a nice rod. I would go with a Cardiff over the curado 300 though. Or a Calcutta te would be awesome.

What about revo winch or torro winch? Paired with crucial? And whats the best gear ratio for the a-rig?

bass pro shop muskie combo, get a 8ft and it'll handle those rigs like they were a spinnerbait

I would go with a high speed reel, these rigs don’t pull hard like a deep diving crankbait so you don’t need the low ratio. I use 7:1 reels and love them, if you need to slow roll it you can just crank slower, but if you need to burn it a slow reel makes that a pain.

I throw it on 6.2:1 reels cause it isn't really a chore to reel them. I'm sure a sure a 5:1 would be fine, though... I like the old green curados ($80 at most on e-bay) and the 7'11 veritas rod by abu Garcia ($100) this setup will be just fine- Might buy two with the money u save cause the a-rig is the real-deal holyfield....

Either would be fine and Brian can get those for you as well at a nice BBC discount... I like the Curado 300E myself
