I have been pulling boats with a Tacoma for years. If there is any issue it is pulling out of bad ramps due to the light weight of the truck. The 4wd takes care of that. I get about 14 mpg towing and there is no shortage of power. The 4.0 liter 236hp is plenty to do the job. With the towing package there is no overheating problems and thats big down here ith southland.

I feel left out never putting my boat up. I hope this works. She is a 2011 721. At some point in her life, she had 2 Talon's on the back. Now she is going to a new home, so I can get a little 719.

Here is my new 618 with a Mercury 150 Four-stroke. Just picked it up last week. Hunter green and white with black bottom, gunmetal insert, silver green pinstripes.

    Love it so far.

Hello, I own a Ranger but I like the way these boats look but I think they look best with a wrap. How do they ride? I will not cut down some buddys rig we all work for what we own and that makes the boat. One day I will own one of these a long with my Ranger.

Rangers are very nice boats; I almost bought one before finding Phoenix. If you were to ride in a Phoenix during less than ideal conditions, fish from it and come to know the good people at the plant, I bet you wouldn't even think twice before selling that Ranger.

Lithium Ion batteries make it remarkably light in the stern. Will enjoy getting this rig dialled in.

Hey Steve would love to see some side profile shots of your boat and truck.

I'm also very interested in seeing some shots of your trailer with the boat off of it. The rear of the trailer looks very custom and would love to see some more pictures of the work you've done to it.

    Thanks in advance.

    BBI,

Sorry - didn't see you post here for a while.

I'll take some pics of the trailer-only next time the boat is off. It's an Australian built one - galvanised and painted over. Non-galvanised don't last in salt water - period.

In the meantime, here's some happy snaps from our first six-months together. It's a very happy relationship so far. Had it out in atrocious conditions in a tournament earlier this month and it always landed super-soft, no matter how much air it got!

    Cheers,

    SM

    USA My 2013 619

flames.jpgpass side.jpgfullboat.jpgconsoles.jpgHere is my 2013 619 w/ Merc. Pro XS200. Purchased this from Junior at Sportsman Center, after originally starting this dea with Brannon Warner at Fox Lake Harbor marina in Illinois. Both were great to deal with and highly recommend both if you are in the market for a Phoenix.
