    Motorcycle wholesale deal

Here's the deal, a buddy needs to sell a motorcycle pretty bad. He asked me to broker the deal and I think I can make a little money on the deal. The motorcycle is a 2007 Aprilia RSV. It has 3300 miles and is perfect. He wants to sell it quick but the bottom line is in MS, there is NO market for this bike. Anyone have any advise or points of contact that could help. Not a lot, but $100 to anyone that hooks me up to a buyer and another $100 to BBC Santa. I think he's got it priced low enough that I could wholesale and still come out. Thanks and inbox me for any more info.

RSV's are sweet bikes... I want one someday when I'm ready to move out of the 600 cc class.

No help selling the bike, but I'll give you a free bump.

    Put it here...

They are worse than we are. That crowd has a niche crowd within it for everything. That is a GREAT race bike also for class called "Heavy Weight Twins" which people over there race.

There are two on there now. But they both have had a lot of after market money poured in them already...

Thanks. May give it a try tomorrow. Meeting with one guy tomorrow. Maybe he will jump on it. I think this bike is a steal at $6000 but can't find any hard numbers to be sure!!!

E-mail me the info and I'll forward it to some friends that ride. Don't know anything about bikes but I'll put the info out there.

Re: Motorcycle wholesale deal (Bug Bunny)

Just my opinion... That is a decent deal @6k but not just FABULOUS and that is given it is perfect. It is a niche market for them for sure. Kinda like some of the niche markets around here. It is a big V twin versus most of the Japanese sport bikes are inline 4 cyl's. The big 1 liter twins like that are not as strong as the Japanese bikes (less HP more weight) which creates the odd market (and the specific race class for that matter).

It is one of those that when the right guys sees it it will be gone for asking price. Just make sure you can afford to sit on it until spring if you want top dollar.

The owner said he paid $2400 for the exhaust. I'll do a little more checking into the exhaust but thanks for the bump!!

I am no help for the sell, but, as a cycle enthusiast, that is one bad azz bike.

Gotta love those Italian bikes... they're simply beautiful.

If $6000 is your buddies target, perhaps Al might allow you to run a raffle on the BBC. Sell 120 raffle tickets at $50 a piece and you'll hit 6K.

Hell, I'd drop $50 for a chance at a bike like that.

I'd hate to do that and only sell 80 then have to figure out what to do!! But if everyone agreed to and the winner makes up the difference to say, $5500, then maybe. . . . . .
