Thats a bad ass mine clearance vehicle. I see that it appears up-armored, but my question is... Do you drive it forward until you deploy the chains and then turn around and drive backwards? How does it work? Just curious.
You are correct. You drive to your location and operate it backwards. You can see that in the second photo under world wide. Depending on material and depth it may go as slow as 60 meters and hour. The chains have an anvil on the end that strike the mine as they flail. It either knocks the detonator off or explodes the mine.
