I'm looking at a 225 Merc Carbed motor. Its a 95-96, . Its rebuilt with 105 hours on it. Compression was 120ish on each cylinder. I want to put it on an older grady white. Any opinions on the motor.

Good, solid motors. If it checks out well, and will suit your application, it would certainly be something to consider.

motor runs great overall but it is sputtering on the idle circuit when you're in gear between 900 and 1400 rpm's,
