    Well, so much for prefishing.

Was on Pool 17 today prefishing for our tournament sunday. Hit my first three spots and FRIED the trolling motor. Luckily it was just the wires that were melted all to hell. Probably from fighting through weeds all year long at Belva Deer and Pool 13. Got it fixed now but it cut my prefishing short. Not that it really matters, fishing SUCKED. Had one more spot to try and was saving it for last as I thought it might be the mother lode..... we'll never know now

    ""LODE""
    a. The metalliferous ore that fills a fissure in a rock formation.
    b. A vein of mineral ore deposited between clearly demarcated layers of rock. Also called lead1.
    2. A rich source or supply.

    Ok I get it now

Also bad deal about theTM wires, glad you got it fixed

To be completely honest, it wouldn't have bothered me one bit at all to miss this tournament. Would've sucked if the trolling motor was fried and needed replaced, but as far as the tournament, I couldn't care less. I hate high water on this pool, another wasted weekend

Close enough I should fish it. If I were out of the running I'd skip it in a heartbeat. I think I'm down about a dozen points.

Yeah, I haven't been fishing bad, it just seems like it though. Guys in first are having a great year. And to be honest, I just don't have the fire this year. Maybe that will change though, just can't get excited about our next two tournaments. 17 and 18 during high water.

Yeah, it's where I go to fish to forget about pool 18 or any other bad fishing weekends
