Bought 96 200 johnson #G03747623----Model LJ200SLEOC . What Difference between this and standard 200 venom? (carbs, timing, Rigid engine mounts?) Thanks, any help appriciated WILL

Motor is a 95 not a 96.

The motors are basically the same with different styling. However, some of the Limited editions were much much hotter than the venoms. I know of one motor on an STV that came from the factory with an 8500 rpm rev limiter and it pushed the STV over 100 with a 30 pitch prop at 7400 rpm. Except for a nosecone this motor was bone stock. I really thought hard about buying it but a center ster boat just isn't going to fly with the wife.

This boat is actaully out at Buckeye lake there near you.

I do not know how to tell the difference between the hot ones and a regular one.

I am sure that there was a reason OMC built the hot ones and I am also sure that certain dealers were in the know about how to order them. Just like the early 2.6 XPs had options if you knew how to order them.

From the model number the EO=1995.
