Several weeks ago at a Tuesday Night Tournament in Le Claire, Iowa
one of the anglers lost control of his Triton. Both anglers were ejected
an the driver DID NOT have his kill switch attached. The boat came around in a
circle. (like they always do) The prop hit the driver and he ended up loosing his foot. He
is a Illinois state trooper. the passenger is a Bettendorf police officer as well.
The boat was going around in circles for about an hour at 30 mph. the fire department had a guy jump in the boat to shut it off. (this was the info I received
so I hope it is fairly close to what happened)
I Always have my kill switch attached when my flat or my bass boat is on plane.
I hope everybody on here will do the same. It could SAVE YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!
