I marshalled for Mike MacClelland on saturday at the Elite Series in Fort Madison. I asked him if he got any local help before the tourny and he said no but he was kicking himself for not getting a hold of you. He says "Hello"!

I'm sure you already know, Mike is one of the nicest guy you will meet.
I worked several boat shows with him when I was with Champion.
The Elite schedule is such a grind I don't know how they do it.
With back to back tournaments they are always on the road.
Absolutely one of the nicest guys. All three pros I rode with were great. Bobby Lane on thursday, Brian Snowden on friday and Mike on saturday. Mike was thrilled to make the final 12, just snuck in. He basically gave the tournament to Short too. Found out on saturday they were both fishing the same little area but at different times of the day. Figured Short had a better chance at winning so he left the area alone on sunday and fished new waters.
