Any updates? Are they being shipped yet? The new boat is at the dealer just waiting for the motor. Everyone says it is worth the wait, I hope so. Can't wait!!!

    Re: E-tec 115 question (Va-banjopicker)

Yow will not see any sitting in showrooms. They are only being shipped to dealers that have them sold. I am told that every dealer that has them sold within the boat show program will have the engine by the end of April by the latest. This goes for all 115, 150, 175, and small 200's.

    Re: E-tec 115 question (johnrude)

I spoke with my dealer today and he told me one month . I thought this was just b.s. that way I wouldn't call back for a month and hopefully he would get them in , but maybe he is telling the truth I just don't know anymore. Yamaha dealer is dying to sell me f150's but I'm holding out .

What's the lead time if I ordered one today?
Will they extend the 7 year warranty until the dealers have them?

    Re: E-tec 115 question (jeffnick)

    Jeffnick,

If you placed your order with a participating dealer before the end of the promotion which was yesterday, the dealer "registers" the sale with Evinrude and can give you the 7 years of coverage or the rebate even though the motor will arrive later.

A sold motor like this would have priority shipping over dealer orders that were just for stock. Earlier orders of sold motors are being shipped first.

    Sorry you missed the promotion.

    Re: E-tec 115 question (TMF)

Here it is, although it's not really a "bass" boat.

I was running 45mph at 5500rpm at full throttle with a 13 x 17 alum prop. The boat is listed at 1100lbs. Is that about where it should be or should I try a different prop?

Keep what you got!!! A good stainless would perform a little better, but your numbers are great. Looks good too!!!!! When the weather gets bad, at least you have a windsheild to get behind!!!! I just have a rain coat!!

    Re: E-tec 115 question (TMF)

    For TMF:

How well does she idle? Do you have it set at the 500 RPM minimum? Vibration?

From your manual(?), does the 115 have the 25 or 50 amp output dedicated to the batteries? The site/catalog have been contradictory.

    Thanks!

    Re: E-tec 115 question (JVC)

JVC, It idles at about 600rpm and there isn't any noticable vibration.

Manual states "battery charging/ 50-amp, Fully regulated, Dual isolated"

    Hope that helps.
