I took the boat out on the lake this afternoon and it went pretty well. Of course, I took it easy and varied the RPM frequently.
The only concern I have is the water pressure seems low to me, especially at idle.
At idle it is about 6 or 7 lbs. and increases to about 19 lbs. with increased RPMs.
What should the water pressure be at idle and moderate speed?
I don't have a jackplate and don't have the engine raised up high.
I'm thinking the water pump is dried-up.

If you didn't do it already, then change the whole pump assembly, not just the impeller. Did you also change the L/U oil? Three years is a long time to just sit - change it out to the new fluid.
Recheck your readings once you get the new pump in. I bet your numbers come up a bit.
I agree with Tom, I would change the water pump and housing. Your w/p is fine, just keep it above a very minimum of 15 lbs wot, and i really like 18 better.....
What should the water pressure be at idle??
~5-7 PSI average.
