    best prop

what would be the best 4 blade prop for a 225 venom. currently has OMC Renegade 25. not that the renegade is bad, but has several good dings and is nearly 9 years old. i like speed but i like a stable boat better. anybody recommend a prop for this motor? thanks in advance

I ran a TRO 4 on my last 201 Pro XL w/225HO and it performed great. I was very pleased with it.

A Trophy II with hub kit an plug kit seems to work well on the Vindicators, 25 or 27" depending on your load. How is that for being vauge . The Tempest run well too.

I found the 25 to be a good stable prop for the Venom-Vindicator or the 24 Raker. I never ran the Merc props The DI's or HO's handle the 26 Raker and the 27 Gades better, again I have no experience with the merc props. A lot of guys hub and run em with good results. Trial and error is the rule here.

i've run a 27 gade on my 21xd bullet on both a 200 venom & currently an '04 225ho (non-etec) with great results. tried a mazco 32" re4 for kicks & giggles but didn't like the over the hub hole shot performance. recently ran a worked 28" bravo 4 blade with fairly good results; however, i'll stick to my stock renegade, at this point in time.

If you could find a shooter, that would be a great investment. The props have super holeshot and can whip a hull into shape.
