    Steering cables on ranger

    I have a 1993 ranger comanche 482V. I need to replace the steering cables on this. I have the twin cable type. Rack and pinion style. Where is the best place to buy them and what do I need? Thanks Jay

    You should just buy everything helm, cables and hardware. You can buy them at Overtons.com. Alot of people are changing to hydraulic steering but you have to decide if you want to pay $450 for new cable steering or $1100 for new hydraulic. There is a guy on here who sells hydraulic units but I think think they are rebuilt.
