Shout out to Mr. Don Weed and European Marine

Had the lower unit fail in my boat a couple weeks ago. Took it over to Don on a Friday he told me he would look at it on a Tuesday. Called Tuesday as promised, told me the details and told me lower unit was back ordered two weeks I said no problem. He said if it comes in early I will get it put on right away. Without fail it comes in early and Don calls me to tell me it is finished. I have spoke with Don in the past when we were having coil problems, but this is the first time I have had any dealings with European Marine. Customer service was beyond my expectations. He did what he said he would do when he said he would do it. So hard to find great customer service like this anywhere. I picked it up this morning and asked 100 questions and his answers were why you do this or that. Don it was a pleasure meeting you and thank you for the GREAT customer service.

Don is the man. He gives so much free advice here on these boards I'm surprised he has time to work on motors. He definitely sets the bar high.

Yep, I am fortunate enough to live just an hour away from Don. I was there two weeks ago for service on my 250. He told me to be there at 9:00 AM. I was and out the lot around noon. The Pro XS is purring!

He is the man. I upgraded motors a couple years ago and drove 5 hours one way to get it done. Other than normal service, I'll make that drive again. He does what he says he will and that's hard to come by anymore.

I agree with ya. I drove 4 hrs one way for him to fix mine and I'll drive it again when/if the time comes.

Don is the Man, awhile back I was having some stalling issues on my 175 and he nailed it. Put me on the right guy for the repair. Thanks again Don.

The best part of the BBC. Unreal the free, accurate advice given on the Mercury board.
