    spring motor prep

ok so in November i stabilized the gas in my boat and fogged the 200 johnson.
in a couple weeks she'll be coming out of storage... are there any precautions i should take or things i should try to notice as I start her up for the first time in a few months??? also at the end of that first time out I plan to decarb and change the plugs... looking for any suggestions or hints for the first time out in the spring... thanks

Hook it up on the muffs and light her off, should be good to go!! Happy boating.

There are 2 methods you can use. One is to remove the airbox and get the BRP tuner and shoot it straight down the carb throats, other is to use the style can that attaches to the Schrader valve on the primer solenoid. Apply water to the motor via muffs and follow the directions on the can. DO NOT do this on a concrete driveway.

What they said on the decarb, When ya wake that baby up, If ya wanna just hear it run then put the muffs on and light er up!!! Won't hurt a thing!!!. But when ya take her to the lake try this, back her in the water, light her up Idle her till she warms up a little, idle past the no wake bouys and set her on plane, Now here's tha kicker................ Once on plane BACK out of her a little and just cruise her around 3500-4000 rpms and let her really get warm for about 30 minutes, Then.................let the big dog eat!!!! She will love ya for it and wont give ya all those nasty bells and whistles!!!! Really, This makes perfect sense to me.......Thanks Rus..... Get that baby's jucies flowing again before ya get rowdy!!!!
