    Video Question

This is more of a camcorder question than camera so I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask. I shoot my son's soccer and baseball games for the coaches and then make copies for him to go over with the team. I have alot of parents that want copies but it's a pain to make that many week after week. I thought about finding a service that would make the copies for a fee and charge the parents. Is there a online web site that I could load them to and then allow the parents to download themselves? Most sites have a limit on how many minutes you can upload. I wouldn't even mind a pay site and then get reimbursed by the parents.

    Thanks, Mike

I think Dropbox will do this. My friends and I do that with pictures and videos. Up to 2 gig is free but after that you have to pay. Not sure how big your videos are but you might want to check it out. It works GREAT.

Thanks. Even if I had to pay a small monthly fee I'm sure the parents would kick in.

You might want to take a look at smugmug.com as well. They allow full hd clips in 20 min segments if you have a power or pro account. The power is $60 a year and you get unlimited storage for photo and video. in my opinion smugmug is far and away superior to the free photo sites.

If you put them up there in 20 min segments the parents could either stream or download the videos.

Here is a sample, if you run it you can expand it full screen and hd. This video was taken w my canon 7D dslr and it was my first(and only) attempt at video. I know it can be much better then this clip but it will at least give you an idea.
