Sept. 15: ALABAMA
Sept. 29: vs. Texas A&M
Oct. 6: at Auburn
Oct. 13: KENTUCKY
Oct. 27: OLE MISS
Nov. 10: at South Carolina
Nov. 17: at Mississippi State
Nov. 24: LSU

Yeah, but our non con schedule is still pretty lackluster..
I'm hoping we get at least one decent nonconference opponent that's at least in a BCS conference..

Bingo! Our non-con schedule has been the all girls bell choir. Kills the SOS from a BCS perspective. Like it or not - we're stuck with the BCS. If you're gonna play 12 games - play 12 real games.

Disagree...I think we should play 1 cream puff/Div II, 1 sunbelt, 1 Conf USA and one good BCS team non-con. The rest of our schedule speaks for itself.

In most cases I agree, but, when say an LSU, who generally has a strong OOC schedule, ties us at the end of the year in the win/loss column, they're going to be a more attractive candidate for bowl considerations. Had we have beaten LSU this year, aside from the Bama result, we could never have made a case for the NC game over LSU, simply due to the fact that their OOC was 10x what ours was.

Yeah, by having a strong OOC schedule, you run the risk of blowing your season out of the gate, but, you also have the chance to solidify yourself at the top, right off the bat.

Good thing we didn't have to play ASU this year!
