    Everyone be safe this evening...

This line of storms looks like it is going from bad to worse. Get a helmet and find a fraidy hole.

The killer TORMATOES are breaking out everywhere. Batten down the hatches and keep you heads down.

If we batten down the hatches up here we'll drown. The one good thing is Beaver went from being low on friday to running over today.

Re: Everyone be safe this evening... (RazorBassin)

I knew it was gonna get bad when I saw where Reed Timmer was in Arkansas. I heard Cantore was in Little Rock too. That's never a good sign.

We got lucky yesterday as most all of it went just north of us. I hope everyone was able to dodge it. everyone survives tonight.

I will say this, I think a lot of lives are spared due to the technology the forecasters have as well as the tech all of us viewers have. Aside from TV, I had Facebook going on my iPhone getting updates from friends and newscasters. I was listening to NOAA and C.A.R.E.N/HAM radio on an app too. I also had my Twitter app going. The information on Twitter is unbelievable. I follow all the news stations as well as other weather services and I was getting updates close to every 30 seconds from one source or another. I would recommend getting a twitter account just for this reason. I don't "tweet" anything, but it is good to get information from these sources.
Indecision may or may not be my problem.

    Re: (RazorBassin)

"5-0 Radio" has the Central Arkansas Radio Emergency Network. They are HAM operators reporting to the NWS I believe. Sometimes you get better reports than others. It depends on the operators that are on. 5-0 also has a few police and other first responder frequencies on it. There are probably others though.

The Twitter accounts I follow for weather are:

JimCanotre, weatherninja, weatherclipper, ARwx, KARK4News, KATVNed, KATV_Weather, todaysthv, ARscanning, Paul_The_Wxguru, reedtimmerTVN

Most of the news stations update their Twitter accounts a lot more frequently than Facebook as I have found. Plus there are multiple news personalities tweeting and re-tweeting things on Twitter whereas the Facebook accounts seems to be just one person controlling it....and I don't have to wade trough posts by other people complaining about lack of coverage in their area.

Also, if you are looking for a really cool radar app, RadarScope is about the best there is. But it costs 9.99 I think.
Indecision may or may not be my problem.
