    Braves fans and Cubs fans...

Glad Im neither. Cant imagine going through life like that. False hope, and just the entire era of the 90's for the Braves people and all their choke sessions. Anyway, Go CARDS!!!!

    GO CARDS!!!!!

Gave Carp and early lead, which is usually bad for other teams.

    Oh dear God.

The silence from Cardinals fans will begin Mid May. Carpenter will be the only starter on the team with more than 2 Wins and Albert will be dreaming of New York or Philly.

    Go Braves!

Looked like they finished strong today

Wouldn't it be weird if Pujols went 0-4 with him hitting into 3 consecutive double plays for the first time in his career, only to wind up being traded mid season to the Phillies, who have to unload a left handed pitcher (Cliff Lee) to the Yankees?

Well, at least the first part happened...Bwaahahaahaha

See ya in the post season boys! 27 World Series Championships

    Go Yankees!

Actually, I am a Braves and Cubs fan! Gonna see them both in the NLCS this year. Cubs win and break the 100 year curse by winning the series! Just wait!

Too many Cardinals fans here in NE Arkansas. You can smell most of them before you get to them though.

    See ya, HatfieldHog

Re: Braves fans and Cubs fans... (HatfieldHog)

I like to watch Cards, Cubs and Braves games when I find time and see one that interests me.
You get a lot of history with the Cards and a "blue collar workman" attitude that they can get the job done. Watching the Cubs makes me want to go watch a game in early summer at Wrigley Field just to appreciate it even more.
When I watch Braves games, it reminds me of when I was growing up in the late 70s/early 80s when cable tv just started getting popular. Their "bash brothers" were Bob Horner and Dale Murphy. Then in the 1990s, they had the best pitching rotation in baseball. Greg Maddux proved year in an year out, you don't have to throw 90+ mph heat to win Cy Young awards as the top pitcher in the NL...you just have to hit targets, have complete control of location, and make each pitch count.
But I grew up Yankee as my grandmother used to listen on the radio when we visited her. Had a good time then and followed every year since then.........

Typical quote from a Cubs fan....Just wait....wait til next year. They'll be saying it before the All-Star break...heck, may have already started saying it.

    Absolutely,

    (1) Megabass of your choice from Tacklewarehouse.com, says the Braves will have a better record than the Redbirds after 162 games.

    and

(1)Megabass of your choice from Tacklewarehouse.com, says Albert (I don't really know how old I am) Pujols is NOT a Redbird at years end.

Do not sit in the bleachers if you go to a Cards/Cubs game . If you have your Cards colors on you better expect a drunk to try and start something with you .
