Headed to the White River to play for a little bit today and then plan on spending the day on the Arkansas River tomorrow. Finally got this hunting out of my system and I'm ready to fish. Haven't been in the boat since the end of September.

Forecast looks like it will be a great couple of days

Sure havent, I'll bet the river is still really low though. I'd hit the bayou if I were you. The lakes would probably be tough to get into.

Im gonna go up the bayou and try on the main river some too. Buddy of mine went up there 2 or 3 weeks ago and stayed on the river and best 5 went 18lbs. 4 kentuckys and 1 black.

I caught 3 on the main river a while back that went 18 lbs. 2 Grinnel and a drum..

Well the outing was pretty good...it was nice and warm. The fishing wasn't though.
My buddy in the back of the boat caught 2 kentuckys, a 12''er and a 2.5lber. I had a lovely first trip of the year and failed to get a bite...I make a heck of a better guide than fisherman I reckon
