FYI, I went to Academy Sports on Markham today and they had some of their rods on clearance. They had Shimano Crucials for $99. They also some Castaways and Falcons on sale too. I just thought I would pass it along.

Thanks...been eyeing that CastAway 8 foot medium action casting rod for a while....still at $89 clearance as it was before Christmas. And still 2 left.
Not sure what I would do with an 8 foot casting rod as far as application...or the fact that my boat is 17'11" bow to stern(probably hit somebody...several times)
I bet that rod would sling a bait.I would like to have one for crankbaits but it wouldn't fit in my rod locker.
