    Power Ball

I'm not gonna spend much time on this power ball thing.
Gonna go ahead and win $60mil next week and get it over with.

Yep, Hummar's gonna scht his britches when I show up back at his 7-11 to claim my money.
I think the new secret color is "A-Rig"..........

    Re: Power Ball (SkeeterDD22)

I actually bought one at a truck stop in Bald Knob. Wife's brother is a trucker, haven't seen in a year and was bringing a trailer to Searcy. They were visiting, so I had this extra dollar in my pocket........the kids were at home with their friends......we already ate dinner.....and I had already bought groceries earlier that day......so I had some left over money and thought "why not?"
I've got one chance at powerball for tomorrow. If the numbers fall right, great. If they don't, oh well. At least I tried.

    Re: Power Ball (turkdaddy)

JStew was out there last Sunday as well with the same kind of report you gave.
Like the old saying "Shoulda been here yesterday....."
I was out at Maumelle last Saturday. The sailing club was in full force and had G&F commission boat/ Sheriff's boat/ and Baptist Helicopter at the ramp for safety and tv coverage. Figured I had either done something wrong(don't worry--county taxes are in the mail with late fee ), or I did not want to be throwin' crankbaits cause I might pull up something I didn't want to see . Was told at the dock all that stuff was for the sailing .
Anyway, got out there at 1020.....zeroed until I finally figured out what to do by 1215. Left at 2pm, caught 6 bass/ 3 pickerel. Big bass went 4lbs, three were 2lbs, rest were 14 inchers. Spinnerbaits...just had to figure color and location in grass, then patterned the north shore.......water temp 62.

Won't catch me at Maumelle though...freaking hate that lake. I'll go to Ouachita or Degray before going there.

Another note...I have yet to buy a lotto ticket and don't forsee myself doing it either.

I was there the week before and slayed 'em on spinnerbaits over the grass with the high water. Top 5 would have been over 13lbs. and I lost a 5lb'r at the boat, which on Maumelle is huge. Tried the same thing again on Sunday - 1 keeper and 2 pickerel. I stunk the place up but my record as pickerel pete is intact!

Alan had called me the night before that he had a great day on Sat. I knew when the wind changed from the East - I was done for... Alan neglected to tell me he was using a glimmer shad or blue herring skirt. I was getting short strikers on my white terminator. I should have reacted and changed colors. The white was too bright and I missed the clue..... Oh well - be back there again this Sat.....

That only works when the lake is open 24 hours a day. From November 1st to April 1st the lake is only open from 6AM to 8PM

Oops! I did forget that part...........also, only the NW corners of every pocket, not the points. Only about a 25 yard stretch in each spot. Fished 4 of those before had to go (prior commitments).
Tell Deb that I thought you were fishing with your regular co-angler on Saturday or I would've called ya.
