    Fishing Norfork this week

    Hi Everyone,

Wife and I are headed to this beautiful lake on Oct 6. Gonna be there a week. Hope you all could give us a few places to try and some advice on lures, colors, sizes, etc.
We are going to be concentrating on bass but also plan to fish for stripers and walleye.

    Thanks!

BTW - this is our first time there and we are staying at the Mockingbird Bay Resort.

Mark, head up the river past Red Bank.Start the day with a Spook when that slows down go to a spinnerbait when the the sun starts to get high fish jigs on the bluffs.I would also try crankbaits to see if they will hit them seems to be on one day off the next. Also if your looking for Crappies there is a good bite on the west bluffs just below and above Bennett's in 15 ft of water on whits jigs.Look for my Blue and white Champion with Anglers Marine on the side and say hi.
    Good Fishing

Mark, if you see that blue and white Champion, go to the other side of the lake.

I've heard rumors that fishing behind that Champoin is like fishing behind a fish vacuum cleaner.
I don't even think he will leave you a perch without a hole in it's upper lip.
I think the new secret color is "A-Rig"..........

    Larry,

Thanks for the info. We've booked Tom Reynolds for the first day. Gonna take us striper fishing. Should be fun. Hope to see you on the lake. Promise not to get in your way.
