Can anybody give me some tips on fishing Greers in October?
It will all hinge on the lake cooling down. If it stays pretty warm into October, it will be tough, but if the water gets to cool down pretty well, the fishing should be pretty good. A lot of schoolers and fish should be stacked up pretty well on main lake points.

It will actually be the last Fri. of Oct. and Sat. Nov. 1! Surely the water will cool down by then.
Should be getting close by then. Do you have a tournament, or is it a fishing trip?

It will be the regional Fishers of Men tournament. I will go pre-fish 2 or 3 days before though.
Gotcha, it oughta be pretty good then. The fish will be anywhere from shallow to deep that time of year.
