The topwater bite has been on fire. I was keying in on shallow points in the mouth of coves and the very, very back of pockets.
3am to 7:30 am has been the hot time on the lake the last few weeks...top water and black spinnerbaits around boat docks.Bass are busting shad early and its over by 7:30am.
Do you think I am waisting my time night fishing right now?
Fishing is never a waste of time.
It's not even legal to THINK that in most states.

I caught a few fish last Saturday night when I was there for the holiday... They was all caught off points on a texas rigged worm... I caught one that was 3+, one that was right at 3, and 5-6 dinks... I fished from 9pm-2am... Wasn't great by no means, but I did catch a few fish...
