Just wondering if anyone has a 150 with either a phase 1 or 2 kit that they are running and what was the performance gain like?
I run 56-59 and would love to see 65.

I have a phase 3 on a 2008 vmax hpdi and Wayne said I belive 240 hp. It will run 67-69 with a turbo 26p all day long with just me in it and 78ish with a 30p. I've got it on a H 18 Xpress.
i would also like to see some carb 150 numbers on a glass boat also.
would like to see how many rpm's a yamaha vmax 150 with a phase 1 or 2 is turning and what prop pitch
not a HT150, but just as good...

Kottman cut heads.
Excel Carbs 34mm, 170+ mains
Excel tuner and divider plate
stock timing...maybe 1 or 2 deg retarded, I can't remember right now.
135psi compression
91 octane
27M B&B'd.
pulls 6000rpm....
best speed thus far is 69.0mph on my 97 Skeeter ZX185C dual console, 2/3rds tank of fuel, loaded to fish, just me in the boat....I backed out at 69, 4 times up and down the lake, as I had no lifejacket on, and no one knew I was out there....and the boat gets kinda funky!!! It's normal to go 65mph with full load, wife, wife purse, one livewell full.

Wife's Purse, I think yours is the same boat I saw on Youtube, it also got me thinking and wanting to go faster..
i have an 86 pro v 150 with the excell front half, 220 tuner, boyesen reeds, rev limiter removed and 120 lbs of compression. it will turn a 28 britts cut chopper to 7200 any time on my xb2002 ally. if you take the time to hunt up the right factory parts you can get the same gain as the hydrotech phase kits for way less money...........benji

I have a 1991 Pro-V 150 and may speak for others as well when I say I have no idea what parts would fit my motor when I comes to mix and matching.

Thanks. I have HT reeds already, so if I found an older 225 I could put the carbs, heads and tuner on mine for an "almost" 225?
