I caught 2 keepers and found out that I have yet another bad battery. I could not put a pattern together to save my life. I caught my biggest one on a crankbait and the other one came on a weightless lizard.

Catherine to practice for our classic that is this weekend. I know the fish are there I just could not get them to bite.

Is Catherine like Degray with the 16" minimum on blacks?

Degrey has a slot 13 to 16 not just a 16 minimum. Nothing in the guide book about a minimum on Catherine, but you can shoot em with a speargun.

Ive never fished either lake, but I will be going to Degray next month. Would like to fish Catherine sometime.

I like Degrey its like Greers but with submergent grass. Catherine is more like the White river to me.

Huh..being that Ive never seen Catherine, how is it like White River?

All the times I have been there there has been good current, water is about the same color plenty of lay downs along the banks in the main channel the biggest difference is that the coves and backwaters on Catherine are shallow. Nope the white is the same. Oh I know there are more docks on Catherine.
