    Lake Brewer Pigs

Hey guys, I decided to go run my boat Sunday after having the week off deer hunting. My step son and I went to brewer, we got there about 3 and fished till 5. we caught 8 fish the biggest was caught by my step boy and it was 6 pounds and 21 inches long, mine was 5 3/4 and 21 inches long. We caught some nice kentuckys as well as these 2 pigs. I caught mine first then on the next cast he caught his.....The wind was howling and we were fishing a hump. Think I might hit brewer up again this weekend....Sorry for the poor quality pics....

Brewer is located between conway and morrilton, you take the plumerville exit and head north about 3 or 4 miles. There are no road signs that indicate a lake, so get details on how to get there before you go.........FYI, I catch fish there when i go, but never many quality fish, the fish pictured are by far the largest i have caught on this lake.

I was surprised to see those two come out of there on the same trip. Brewer as Ive heard, has always been one of those catch alot, but not any big ones lakes. Glad to know there are a couple of big ones in there..

Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!

Did you toss them back in the lake?

    Let them hogs spawn

    Re: Lake Brewer Pigs (Eyra1)

I honestly couldnt tell you if there's one down there or not, when I was driving through there yesterday afternoon I looked and didnt see one, but I may of just missed it. Back in the day there was a sign on the highway for the baitshop that used to be south of the lake, but thats long gone and the bait shop is a house now I know it doesnt seem to need a sign, seems to be enough people that know where its at. Earlier this year when the river was up if you werent there 30 minutes before daylight you couldnt hardly get a parking spot at the south ramp.

Yep, we tossed em back...I had mine in the boat when he caught his, we were lucky to get the pictures together cause when he hung his I just tossed mine in the livewell till we got his in....Otherwise we would only have had single pics. I'm goin to blow the picture up i got on my digital camera and frame it for him, being that was his largest bass
