    How is the fishing on Lake Maumelle around November???

    Depends on the weather .... several warm days in a row and they move shallow for a while, but if it has been cold you gonna have to go deep with a jig or a spoon and it can be sloooow.

    Our November club tx is on Maumelle this year, guess I'm gonna have to get out there and slug it out..

    last month we moved ours from the river to lake maumelle because of the flows. Out of 18 people we had 13 limits weighed and it took 11 pounds to win we had our oct tx schduled for there and it is this weekend so monday I will let you know how we did

    A lot of people say it is tough all the time but if you pay attention to color you can do well. If it has not gotten too cold by the time your tx comes aroun you should do well. I went out there tonight and caught 15 in about 3hrs all on spinnerbaits, started with chartreuseand white and was not getting any bites switched to a shad color and started wearing them out. Right now it is back to the top of the spillway so if we don't get much rain they should stay pretty predictable until it gets really cold.

    Went out there Friday evening and Sat evening and did pretty well. No size, but caught some feesh for sure. Small Crankbaits and small jig (pbj). Probably the best fishing I have seen out there. I was suprised to say the least.
