Did you mount yours in front of the middle roller on the trailor?

I put one on mine the other day, I stoped right in front the roller.

What size did you go with?

mine is 8' and it starts 18" down from the bow eye. This way if you pull up on a ramp, the boat sits on the keel guard.

I went with Keel Shield over Keelguard brand, based on how i had 2 on my last boat and both came off. I know the 2nd was prepped right, not sure about the first, it was dealer installed.

Does it interfere with the center roller on the trailor?

no, it was harder to install but wasnt bad. we took the middle board off the front of trailer and i had to hold the bow up while we slid the keel guard between it and the roller, but it doesnt rub when loaded.

I used a 6'
Its 6" above the waterline and stops right in front the roller

I have the same as Tim. We installed at the dealer. We took the spare tire and the walk board off and used an 8 x 8 timber and a floor jack to raise the boat to get the shield past the roller. No ill effects experienced.

So the roller is touching the Keel Shield under the boat do you feel it has to go back that far to protect the hull?

I can not turn the roller rite now the hull is resting on it so with the Keel Shield installed it will hit the roller.

My 21xdc came with one on it already, just with it was a ft. longer or moved back a foot.

Mine had a Hamby on mine when I bought it. I have used it quite a bit, would not have a boat without one.

once loaded, i dont think mine rests on that roller. i'll have to look. I know it was close because i had to hold the bow up while my buddy slid the keel shield thru
