Measurements between 21ss & 21xrd

First let me say that these measurements are not exact to the .001! However they will give those that wanted to know a little insight.

21ss from the front edge of the carpet on the bow to the end of the carpet in front of the splashwell is 194.5". The width on the rear deck measured at the seat post location is 75" from inside of top cap to inside of top cap. The front deck is 70" wide measured at the rear of the rod locker on the drivers side. The front deck is 83" from the front of the carpet to the end of the carpet on the center flip up storage compartment.

21xrd from the front edge of the carpet on the bow to the end of the carpet in front of the splashwell in 207". The width on the rear deck measured at the seat post location is 73" from the inside of the top cap to inside of the top cap. The front deck is 71" wide measured at the rear of the rod locker on the drivers side. The front deck is 93" from the front of the carpet to the end of the carpet on the center flip up storage compartment.

So in a nutshell from the front carpet edge to the front of splashwell the 21xrd is 12.5" longer. The front deck is 1" wider. The rear deck is 2" narrower. The front deck is 10" longer.

I also had my 21 xrd parked next to the 21ss today to kind of compare. I think what makes the 21ss look so much wider is the way the top cap is designed. It is not flat on top like the current models. Parked side by side you can definately see the difference in length between the 2 boats.
