    Rub rail leak?

is it possible to have a leak in the seam under the rub rail. I have noticed my carpet gets wet back where the throtle cable heads to the back of the boat on windy days when the waves are hittng the side of the boat. I have had the boat come down on the side of a dock, But the rail is straight and not loose, is it possible the seam just needs more silicone under the rail?

It could be leaking from your water pressure guage or your spedometer if it's still connected. I wouldn't think it would come in the rubrail as that should be way above the water level all the time.

Its possible. I bought a brand new stratos one time, sitting still it did not leak.Start the motor and go to a different spot stop, pump out some water .start fishing, over and over, all day.

It was leaking under the rubrail near the back of the boat.Everytime it would plane off or come off plane it would push water under the rubrail and into the boat.

Do they have rehab for this addiction, cause I need to go!!!!!!!!!!!

No speedo I broke off so many fishing timber I quit replacing them, It only seems to happen on windy days when the waves are hitting the side of the boat. its not a huge amount of water I will put it on the hose and see if it leaks when its running.
