    Removing Flywheel

Does anyone have the sequence for removing a flywheel from a 250 Series 2? What needs to be marked to keep timing correct?

One more for that info. And do you think this will have any effect on factory warranty?

    Re: Removing Flywheel (Wayne Worthy)

Sir can I also have the info on a '99 200 ox66. Also, will a flywheel of a 250 match? The part numbers appear to be the same. Thinking of just replacing it w/ the LW, but until I do get it I need to put the rig online for a tournament. Thank you. HT RULES

My '06 3.3L HPDI didn't need to be re-timed. The wheel is keyed, and went right back on the way it came off.

    You're gonna love the results!

I'm don't want to answer for Wayne or Matt, but I can say that I sent mine 2nd Day UPS on Monday and had it returned the same method on Friday. That's MI to MO and back.

You're already in MO, so it shouldn't take anyMO time.

Even my wife noticed the gain in holeshot, and overall acceleration. Here's what I thought after running it.

Nothing to allign or get timing off. Just undo top bolts (may need puller) and take off flywheel..it is keyed

I highly recommend having a puller handy. And no, nothing tricky about this if the wheel cooperates. (thus the puller )
