I had a friend of a friend tell me that stroker boats only made ONE boat last year. He said that this came from someone at stroker. How in the world can they stay afloat.(no pun intended)

Wow I never heard that, I would think it would be hard for them to stay in business also, with only selling one boat....that's kind of a shocker....![]()

They are currently adding on to the factory. Also they are coming out with a center console flats style boat later this year. I believe they are doing just fine.![]()
They are also going to start building Hydrostream boats there as well. http://www.hydrostream.com/news.html

Stroker boats is alive and well, but there was only X amount of boats built last year due to many factors.
One was Chubs hip surgery and recovery time, others are that with the small company expansion and new models take time so Chub decided to concentrate on all the new things to come this yr and only built X amount of boats last year.![]()

I'd like to see that saltwater model, does anyone know if its going to be similar to a bullet coastal or what?
Personally, I dont care if they built 300 boats last year. I am just glad they are still around and still building hand built high performance boats!![]()

It is going to have a "pop up" console area, where the steering can be recessed when you arrive to fish. It will double as a casting platform.
It will have a modified design to get it up on plane quick in super shallow water, will have a larger fuel tank, center console........and........I'm sure some other cool features.

Why would anybody ask about a 'rumor' about Stroker boats in the Bullet forum?![]()
I think Chub's hip replacement was likely the biggest reason for a lower than usual number of boats built last year. It isn't due to no demand, that's for sure. Most used ones come on the market for sale and don't last too long, and hold value real well also. Considering in 25+ years of business though and only around 300 or so boats built, Chub never did try to set records in production anyway.
There will always be a demand for Stroker boats. They are a very high quality boat very fast very fisherman friendly. Strokers are great looking. IMO I would like to see some differant top cap lay outs but keep the hull the same I think that would attract more customers.

They have only made 300 boats in 25 years?
